DESK’s New Online Experience (a.k.a. “Website”)
Hello to all our friends and supporters in the cybersphere! Today, I am excited to announce that we are launching our new and long-awaited website! In designing our new online presence, our team’s aim has been to make things simple and easy to find, accessible to all, and, most of all, useful to those who visit — just like DESK!
Whether you’re seeking services, looking to donate, or eager to roll up your sleeves and volunteer, our new website has the information you need. The three orange buttons in the upper right corner are the best starting point for the three most likely reasons for visiting this website.
But there’s so much more! From the new homepage, you can find shortcuts to our programs and how you can help, as well as some quick figures on our impact. And scroll to the bottom to see our latest postings and photos on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
If you’re curious about our history, our services, and our leadership, check out the About page. (And heads up: That’s also where you can find our latest career opportunities and even get your hands on some awesome DESK swag!) DESK is all about being deliberate and transparent in what we do, so don’t forget to check out our values, approaches, policies, and past financial records. It’s all out there for you!
Our Events page will tell you about our upcoming events, like our Giving Tuesday Happy Hour in November and our Breaking Bread Dinner in March. (Save the date!) Our new Contact page lays out for you who to contact about what, just to make it as easy as we can for you.
And finally we’ll be updating this Blog as frequently as we can to keep you up to date on all the amazing things happening at DESK.
The new and improved deskct.org is so amazing that the only worry is that you’ll spend too much time there! Looking forward to seeing you IRL very soon!
